Can I have my white gold ring be yellow gold again?

candleburn715 asked:

I have a white gold ring that is yellow gold underneath. I get it rholuem plated so that it stays white gold. Am I able to get it yellow gold if I decide to do that?

  1. I have never heard of anyone doing that before, but you can try soak it in sufuric acid to melt away the top layer. (though it will be tricky) or plate it with another layer of gold.

Alternatively, wear it as much as you can so the top layer rubs off.
