Do you feel buyer’s remorse after buying computer parts?

anonymous x asked:

I always do.
After hours of careful research and budget planning, I try to select the best computer components possible, only to find that the next month, there’s a more powerful part that’s cheaper.

Does that happen to you?

  1. when buying electronics, make sure that you buy them in 6 months increments because they upgrade every 6 months. so far i am glad with my orders.

  2. After 35 years of building my own systems… sure. All the time.

  3. I always feel it while it is shipping/Im carrying it home. However once I get it put in and up and running, I completely forget about the money and just feel the pure joy of my new part. Ive learned to screen myself from looking at computer parts after buying one. There will always be the newer and better version, it is in a way infinate. Standing there always waiting for the next best one to come will do you no good, so you just gotta pounce and then forget about it.

  4. With the pace in which technology is growing, its not surprising that a day after you have purchased the latest product only to find out that there is a slimmer, faster and cheaper version available. So yeah it happens to me all the time.

  5. Of course, it drives me nuts after dropping $499 on a processor last year the price dropped down to less than half that in a matter of weeks lol the same processor is currently $79.99.
