Try Jim Rogers, him and his wife recently traveled around the globe in search of investment ideas; he just wrote a book on China, and has other books including investment biker about the around the world trip, hot commodities, and adventure capitalist.
I think you need to read anything you can find, I think rich dad’s prophecy has some interesting advice about mutual funds, pretty elementary but worth reading. I would also read some books about hedge funds and what really goes on on wall street. The wolf of wall street was an interesting book, as would be the ugly americans, there are a few more mentioned on novelwagon.com if you want to have a look.
