Has somebody ever seen a bright silver light in their home that got brighter and disappeared like a flash?

I just experienced a phenomenon at home. I found myself looking at two bright lights one on top of each other that came hovering down the stairs and stopped in the dining room, increased in brightness(silver color)and dissapeared like a flash, I was not afraid. It just felt peaceful. I was not the only one that saw it. I’m just amazed and will like to know. What it was?
