How can I determine stocks that I own?
Roy C asked:
My grandmother for years has bought individual stocks for me in my name. However, I recently wanted to transfer them to one account and called the broker. He said that he mailed the certificates to my father’s office over the years. My father has lost all of these certificates. I do not even know all of the stocks I own. What should I do?

If the broker said the certificates were mailed, the broker should have some record of what companies the stocks were in. You should also have been paying some sort of taxes on them or at least been getting 1099-divs from the companies.
Have the broker give you a list of what the stocks were and then apply to the companies involved for replacement stocks.
