    Bonds are like I owe you’s.

    Mutual funds pool money together from investors and give to a professional manager and they invest in stocks, bonds, and money markets.

  2. A mutual fund is equity packaged with companies to determine its value. A bond is a loan from an investor to a corporation/government.
