How do I enable Other computers on my network to access my main PCs Files and hard drives All Vista?

No matter what settings I change it says “your computer does not have the permissions to access this folder. Check with administrator…. not sure it says “Everyone″ has permissions… but still no luck

Just go to the properties of the folder you have shared ——> permisions——-> and add the computer in it and the user which you want to athenticate.
2nd is you can access all files on the network without sharing it
just when you access the computer like \\computer2\ c$
and here it will prompt for a user name and password.
give here the administrator and password of the computer2 so that you can share all resources of a C: drive.
with the rights of admin and can change the folders and etc….
3rd you should enable file and printer sharing in firewall setting.
You will also need to swith on network discovery found in the Network and Sharing center
