How do I found out about lost stocks that were given to me as a gift 20 years ago?

I received stock in Walmart Mexico about 20 years ago and I don′t know where the certificates are. I would like research tips.

  1. Start with investor relations at Walmart.
    Give them the exact name they were registered under and the date they were purchased as close as you can.
