How do I stop one of my hard disk drives being checked every time I start Windows ?

alphonseduc asked:

My hard disk was partitioned to C, D and E and they were all first FAT32-formatted with Windows XP on drive C. However, since I formatted drive E to NTFS, I have always got the problem that drive E is checked every time I start Windows.

Well, format every hard drive and stick with all the same operating system and make the other hard drives the same filling system.
