  1. Add more RAM

  2. Delete anything you haven’t been using lately. Also, make sure you have nothing else on in the background, such as Xfire, MSN, AIM, Internet, etc.

  3. RAM. That’s always the best key to beef up the speed. That and get rid of things you no longer use or play. Cut down on the amount of stuff the computer has to sort through by defragging your hard drive. Run a scan by Crucial to see how much memory you have and whether you can add more.

  4. The best way is to simply upgrade all your hardware, or buy a new computer.

  5. Close as many background programs as you can

Add more ram to your computer

    Upgrade your graphics card.

Those are the easy solutions, beyond that, you can upgrade your processor if your computer is capable, or just get a new one. Also, if your hard drive has below 5% space left, it will slow down your computer.

  6. get new video card (for revving that slow vis), get a dual- or quad-core processor (for power), and more memory (for speed)
get mcafee, norton, etc. just in case of a virus
also, backup programs kill memory, kill THEM to get that power

  7. delete stuff

  8. what is your configuration now? did you read/ can you get the hardware requirements necessary to play that game?

generally, the quickest fix is to add more ram, but there are no guarantees that adding ram will make the game run as fast as you want it to.

one thing you might want to do is to burn the game to a dvd and put it on a friend’s machine that plays games. if their machine is fast enough you would obviously want to find out their machine’s specs. Then double it. You are always going to want bigger-faster-better with games, and the marketing & hardware people know that already.

Always plan on buying more than what you need.
