How do you remove a signature or dirt stains from an Official Major League Baseball?

B-Sty asked:

I am trying to remove a signature and some dirt stains from an OMLB (Official Major League Baseball) of mine. Any tips?
I am trying to remove it because it was a no name player who signed it and it was a waste of a 15 dollar baseball. Why get a scrub on a OMLB when you can take a shot at getting a star player?

    use a shotgun blast.

  3. Here’s a suggestion: Get another ball! They are only $15 at the store. Who signed it?

If you don’t care for who signed it, why bother getting rid of it? It wouldn’t make any difference.

  4. Take it to a dry cleaner. They will remove it for a small fee.

Turpentine or paint thinner would remove the signature, but I’m not sure what they’d do to the leather.

  6. Get rubbing alcohol and it will all rub off.

  7. here’s an idea; don’t worry about removing the signature. Take it outside and play catch with it or donate it to your neighborhood children so they can play with it.One man’s trash is another man’s treasure……..
