I bought an RC plane and it only came with an adapter for car, not plug! I do not want to charge it in the car

myrmydon_lord asked:

And it says it needs 12 V(I think those r Volts) When I bought it it wasn’t charged at all and I found an adapter for house plug use with 9V not 12! I pluged it in and then I looked over it, saw it is 9V and took it out! It charged a little and the plane works! But, is it okay to use 9V when it asks for 12V, even if it works?? I thought it is ok if I put less but not more, but still, I wanted to ask to be sure

Pls reply fast because I want to go play with it today!

Thank You

  1. The best way would be to purchase a 12 VDC power supply and wire a matching car plug. You should be able to get something at Radio Shack. The 9 volt adapter may not completely charge the batteries in the plane, limiting performance and fly time.
