If you get laid off in 5 years from a software engineer job, on average is it hard to get another job?

  1. Keeping current is one way to avoid having to go through long periods before you land a new job.

    Check out the article in Yahoo today, about how a college degree no longer guarantees you will have a job that will pay a salary that will rise above inflation. It made me stop and think.
