Is it okay for girls to be into video games?

Idk. Would they b geeky if they were. I’m into video games, but not a lot of my friends know.

    does it make guys geeky when they are? there really shouldn’t be any difference. I think it’s fine for girls to be into video games.

  7. There is nothing wrong with a girl being into video games. I’m a girl and I have been playing video games since I was 5.

  9. its okay! i have my dad’s old Super Nintendo (old school nintendo) in my dorm and my friends and i play on it all the time!

  10. Its cool, even though I never liked them because I suck at them. Plus its an easy way to get close to a boyyou like. Invite someone over to play the hottest new game and see what happens.

  13. yes it is. As long as you dont let it consume your life. Or as long as your world doesnt revolve around it sure. I love video games they are good for some occasions just not all!

  14. If they enjoy the games, its more than OK.

    They have the added benefit of having one more thing in common with the guys they will most likely having relationships with. Um, that is assuming that A) there are still more heterosexual girls than not and that B) there are more guys that enjoy video games than not.

  15. Yes. I don’t think that alone would cause a person to be described as geeky. I’m glad you asked this question b/c it is showing us girls that there are a lot of us out there who play. A coupe of my faves are the SSX series & Kingdom Hearts (PS2).

    There’s no problem with that. Some guys even like it when girls are into the same things they are. I know what you mean because when I say I play games like Guild Wars, people are like “What? You’re into that stuff? Seems like I don’t know you” . I made myself learn how to play Halo 2 with my boyfriend and he was so surprised that I was pretty good at it lol.

  19. It’s absolutely fine for a girl to involve herself into the gaming world. My girl play games with me sometimes, especially fighting games, and we always curse each other for using dirty cheap tactics over and over again, and after the game, we’d surely argue in kidding way about the games.

    It’s fun to play games with the one you love, especially if both of you share the same interest.

  21. yes it is ok for girls to be involved in video games im a 21 yo f and i love game online ps x box you name it i got it if you are some on who thinks that its not kool for girls to play games then your wrong and im just proof that girls can do everything guys can do and me and my bro are pro gamers 2 player sister and bro team up we rock (we have been playing ever since there was a nentendo out) i think that if your a girl go for it ! im playing a game atm “diablo 2 xp” and its off its head my account name is djsaz “gate west” if any one wants to play on line with me have fun all good gamin :D
