Is there a link between homicide deaths and violent video games?

There are many different types of “war″ and violent video games in which players shoot each other with lasers and paintballs. What is your opinion of these war games? Should they be outlawed in the United States due to the fact that they can cause aggressive behavior among users?? Tell me what you think!!

anybody that thinks playing a fake video game causes people to go out and kill for reals, is very naive or ignorant. give me a break. people just always have to find an excuse for violent behavior when really sometimes there just isnt one, blaming video games take the blames off of the parents and puts it back on evil money making corporations.
i do not beleive video games cause aggressive violence at all….
“shoot each other with lasers and paintballs…” what about real paintball? why are you not crusading that sport as they actually shoot each other with something for real….
I think it depends on the type of video game. Halo for example just makes you really annoyed/competetive and doesn’t bring any lasting consequences to your self control. A game like Doom is pure evil packed into a video game. You play that for a few days and you’ll end up wearing a frightening serial killer persona with you and people will notice. Video games are like drugs. They exert different effects on you. Some make you happy. Some make you mad. Some make you dorky. Some make you bad.
If the game was developed by Rockstar, then yes.
it could promote it, however, normal minded people should know better..but..
No! If someone is going to go out and kill someone just because they saw it in a video game that means the the individual was unstabble to begin with. The game played zero factor in that person that persons actions. Some people want you to believe the lie and say that they do promote it and cause people to become ultra violent droobs, but the scientific fact is that no one goes out and kills just because they saw it in a video game.
