Is there somewhere I can trade in video games for money?

brightlikestarsx asked:

I need like 10-20 dollars by tomorrow morning. I’d like to sell some old video games. Is there somewhere like EB games where I can do this?

  1. Gamestop/ Funcoland

  2. Some of the smaller local game stores do it. Call around. Use your local phone book.

Pawn shops will but they won’t give you jack for it.
I once read an article that they pay out less than 10% of the retail value for gold & diamonds. I can only guess what they’d pay you for video games. =/

    Good Luck!

    blockbuster

  6. Usually, if you have a Game Stop in your town, they will trade games for cash.

  7. yeah how about EB games… hmmm you said that didnt ya

  8. try a pond shop

  9. You can bring your games into almost any video game store for credit. Only some places will give you cash. You will have to phone around and see who will give you cash for your games.

  10. EB games and GameStop are good places to sell DVDs and Video Games. But don’t try selling PC games… they won’t take it. Goodluck!

  11. Ebay. Post it for 24 hrs and require immidiate payment.

Depends on where you live. Around here we have some GAMESTOPS…. you can sell your games there… or you can always look for a pawnshop.

Im not sure what area you’re from, but in my area most game stores DO trade games for money. EB Games, GameStop etc. They wont give you much, but 10-20 bucks wont be hard to come by doing that. Good Luck to ya!

  14. Gamestop (kinda like EB Games). Also, I think hollywood video (or some other video store) takes movies and games for money.

  15. not going to get that for used games these days
