Laid off from work.any way for assistance or defferment on mortgage payments in Iowa and how to find them?

  1. Always check with the loan company to see what they are willing to do for you. The mortgage company does not want you to have to foreclose so they will do tons to keep you from going there.

  3. I’m assuming you have already filed for and are receiving unemployment. Next stop: the mortgage lender. Tell them of your current financial difficulty. They don’t want you to default on your loan and they will help you.
    Your next job: polish your resume and start looking for another job now.
