  1. Don’t sell it, donate it to your local masonic chapter. And there’s no such thing as 33rd degree.

  2. don’t sell it! keep it!
sounds like you got a bit of history there!

  3. Please dont sell something like that! please. My grandfather was a past master of the masonic lodge. he passed away in March and then in June someone robbed my house and stole the two rings from the Masons. I am devastated. I would give anything to have it back. Please dont let that happen to you.

  4. WOW! First, I’d ask myself why I might want to sell a piece of historical significance…especially for my family.

Have you thought about holding on to the items and passing them along to a family member (perhaps a son or daughter) someday?

The only reason I bring this up is because I sold off some family items during a time when I was in need of money. Now, I have two sons who would absolutely LOVE to have them to preserve our family history. I regret what I did and would find another way to get the money if I was as wise then as I am now.

    Good Luck!

  5. 33rd degree is an honorary degree given to those who served the Craft honorably and significantly over a period of years.

i really don’t have a clue what the emblem would be worth, is there a picture of it, or something like it, available online? that might help.

donating it to a local Lodge or a museum would be a great idea (you could get a tax deduction too)…

what you do with it is up to you, but i agree with many of the respondents it is a terrific piece of family history to be proud of.
