I have a 1.8GHz Pentium 4, 512MB R.A.M and a 80GB computer. Should I upgrade some parts or not?

Thanks

  1. No, save up money for a new computer entirely.

  2. umm, it todays day and age, there are QUAD (you have single i believe) processors, laptops that come with 4GB+ RAM, and 1TB hard drives. i suggest getting a whole new computer because looking at those stats, the computer is few years old and its just easier and less time consuming to get a new computer. plus, there wont be incapability issues

  3. Keep the hard drive and the cd rom or dvd rom and buy new motherboard, new ram, and new processor. Duo if you want it for games. Quad if you like to multitask

  4. You did not say what for you are using your computer for,but to start i will put in more RAM.

  5. It depends on what you use your computer for. If all you do is surf the web, IM and e-mail then no.

If you want to play games especially newer games you will definitely need to upgrade the processor and RAM for sure.

  6. Depends what you wanna do with it after-wards. However with the cheap dual-cores out there why would you want too.

  7. it rhe disk is not getting full - if the thing works ok for you, then the memory might be a good thing to upgrade(RAM)

thats the easiest upgrade to do and gets the most bang for the buck

  8. ok pentium 4 is out now you want to get a intel pentium dual core processor get at least 1 gig of ram and if you want get a second hd but it depends on what you want to do with it
