Using the Window Vista, can I still run computer games designed for Windows 98 and XP?

Also, just a quick extra question, does anyone know a good laptop that uses XP that is fast, great memory size, and still under $900?

  1. Vista has a cool feature called compatibility mode. You can right click the game, go to properties, and run it under older settings from up to windows 95.

    As for the pc, check this link.

  2. Yes, vista is backwards compatible, meaning it can do things that xp, 2000, etc. could do. :)
    However, you might not be able to play a game designed for vista on xp or 2000
