It’s not like Seattle is the ONLY place in the country where people have been laid off….
They sure as hell arent paying there rent, its ridiculously expensive in seattle!
Some of them go commercial fishing in Alaska - there is still good money in that.
We still have one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country at 4%. Boeing seems to be keeping all of their employees for a while anyway. I think they didn’t step up production like they have in years past which resulted in the massive lay-offs. I did hear that Starbucks will create a jump in the unemployment rate by closing 600 stores nationwide.
