What are the best Stocks to invest in right now?

davisjessicaaof asked:

What do you think are the best stocks to invest in right now, weather it be the NASDAQ or DOW or even a foreign market? I would appreciate more uncommon stocks as well. And by that I mean, not google, or Macy’s, or Wal*Mart or something like that. More like ICE (Intercontinental Exchange Inc.) or WFOPX (Wells Fargo Advantage Opportunity C), etc.

Do you invest in any of the stocks you recommend or even just keep track of the stocks you are recommending for class or just for personal interest?

    drugs, gambling and other sorts of escapism (like movies etc.)

  2. It’s a little crazy to get stock “tips” from anyone… let alone strangers whose qualifications and motives can never be known. However here are some stocks that I own that I believe will be moving well;

    I’m a position trader, swing trader & day trader.
    SWIM (position trade)
    GES (position trade)
    SHFL (swing trade) - very dangerous
    RHD (swing trade) - very dangerous
    MDT (position trade)
    EMC (position trade)
    WFR (swing trade) - very dangerous
    SBUX (position trade) - dangerous
    SLM (position trade) - very dangerous

    Use good “stops” below the support lines to insure against disaster.

    Good luck,

  3. I like to buy things that are out of favor or at 52 week lows. Recently purchased GE, BAC and Ford that I will hold for a couple years (see MMM, PCU, PFE). Also looking at REITs. Other purchased in the last few months are pipelines like KMP, ENB, SE. Many companies are building them to transport nat gas and oil from Canada and the Rockies.

    I’d be careful of pure oil plays…drillers should do well the next couple years.
