well, the guy that bought it said it had to do with the fact that he was said to use steroids, so like, the way they use the * symbol (asterisk) to show footnotes or “by the way”s, i figure it’s kinda like ‘yeah, he did this,’ but the asterisk is to be like, ‘but remember he had help’
As long as the ball has “assisted by steroids” on it, it can go to Cooperstown.

vote BRAND IT!!! over and over. the * is referring to the record being tainted by steroid use by Bonds.
