I think i′m missing something here. I don’t get what landscape has to do with the stocks of various companies going up and down.

The Wall Street Landscape is referring to what the stocks are doing.
It is like the relationship between the Landscaping in front of your house and the dying plants that are in your front yard.
If a bunch of the plants are dying, there is something in the ground (Landscaping) that is killing the plants. With the Wall Street Landscaping, there is something in the ground that is killing stocks and it is spreading…
I have never heard of that. I’m not doubting you, but, never heard of it.

It’s a stupid metaphor for THE WORLD IS CHANGING and Wall Street need to change with it… I heard that same stupid remark this morning and said “Huh”?
