I is the frequency that the car works on, like 2.4 Ghz for cordless phones..

  2. 27 megahertz, which is approximately 27,000,000 cycles per second. It is the frequency range in which the RC car operates. Other RC devices might operate in the 27 MHz range or in another range, such as the 49 MHz range. The chances of interference are much greater if two devices are operating at the same time in the same frequency range, so, if you’re racing someone else, it would be better if they were operating in a different frequency range. If you want all of the technical details, go to and look up Parts 15 and 95 in Title 47 of the Code of Federal Regulations.

  3. RS is correct; however, in case you didn’t really understand what he said in layman’s terms the 27 Mhz is the frequency that the radio signal is broadcast over.
