What is the best RC airplane for less than $70? (Christmas Gift)?
Sparkle_Sprite asked:
I am looking to buy a radio controlled airplane for my husband for Christmas. He wants one that takes off from the ground, and has a wingspan of 30in or more. He had a Sky Rangers Blue Angel last year, but the wings got broken, and Estes no longer makes the replacement parts for it. Basically, he wants the same thing again, but I can′t seem to find anything. I am looking to spend less than $70. Anyone know a good website or even a specific plane I could check out? Thank you!

The hornet by air hogs is good
made of foam though
Here’s one, w/ free shipping. Most rc sites are about the same price. Most of them are out of Champaign it seems, here you have Hobbico, Tower Hobbies, Great Planes, Horizon Hobby, which are main distributors and all.
One of the stores that seems pretty good, other than getting them from the distributor, since some you can’t is Advantage Hobby.
There quite a bit on their website…. take a look, and good luck.
