What’s the best way to go? Buy a computer system already made or buy parts seperately?

Have a computer that lets me get on line. Have a memory issue, only have a 64ram. Want to double that, but the best would be 512k or twice that would be best. What do you think out there?

If the motherboard permitts you could go to 512 and run XP pro. But the matter of building a system depends upon the person knowledge and experience. Then at this time I do not know the processor in your current system. There are systems for sale that are OK and I could not build the same at such a low price. Yet I would not want to end up with Vista for at least another year
i would get a system with 1gb of RAM 512mb is really pushin it these days its about the bare minimum and i doubt you will be happy with your new computer if you only get 512. AS far as building or purchasing complete i would say if you have the knowledge go build your own because you can make it exactly how you want it and it normally ends up being cheaper than buying a complete one depending on what deals you find on your hardware. And complete systems come with a ton of bloat ware that will slow down your computer. either way just find a good deal and go for it.
buy parts separately
dude you need to get out of the stone age
buy a dell xps 720
i got one and it works great
