Where can I get a really solid understanding of stocks and investment?

I just recently took a job in IT in a hedgefund company, however I have no background of money, stocks, trading or bussiness. I was wondering if anyone know any good websites i can learn about all these things because i want to learn fast, would also be nice to know some things about bussiness.

  1. Derivatives Markets 2nd edition, by Mcdonald

    AWESOME text book. First half of the book is about basic stock/currency/exchange options and futures/forwards/swaps. Second half deals with pricing of these options.
